I don't see the Giants doing anything extreme to make a big splash this year. Schoen made it clear that he views this year as the real "year one" of the rebuild. I do not think he views the Giants as a deep-run playoff team this year.

Smart people in the comments know we need to strengthen our core, build from the trenches out. Why waste your #1 pick on a maybe at WR. Giants have better weapons already and if Robinson and that guy Johnson come back strong, we will have a solid receiving core. Want big plays? That requires time to develop, which means blocking. The O line has 1 good player. That needs attention far more than who the ball gets thrown to right now, that was addressed already.
