Even in death, Moses' presence echoes through divine encounters. From leading to legacy, Moses led the Jewish people to the brink of the promised land but couldn't enter because of his disobedience. He died at 120 years old in the land of Moab, and God buried him in an undisclosed location. Moses later appeared alongside Elijah at Jesus' transfiguration on a high mountain, where the radiant Jesus conversed with them.

What happened to Moses? Well, the Bible shows us in Deuteronomy the end of Moses' life. We see that he has led the Jewish people right to the promised land, but he can't cross over into it because of some disobedience and anger in his own life.

Deuteronomy chapter 34 records his death. It says that in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord, that he the Lord had buried Moses in the valley of the land of Moab. But no one knows the place of his burial to this day.

Moses was 120 years old. So was it the Angel of the Lord? Was it an angel? Was it a pre-incarnate Jesus? In Jude chapter one, it mentions that Moses' body was fought over by Michael the archangel and by the devil.

And then we see Moses appear at Jesus' transfiguration. When Jesus goes to a high mountain, he's there with Peter, James, and John, and Jesus is made white. He's radiant. It's an amazing experience and the Bible says that Moses and Elijah joined him on the mountain and he spoke to them.
