The first thing I fell in love with was Sam's beautiful voice ❤

Just remember a few things about Scotland...
1 - Scotland isn't a division of Disneyland. It's actually a real country.
2 - your airline ticket doesn't involve every Scot as some kind of cosplay employee.
3 - most Scots have lives, livelihoods and jobs that don't even remotely involve Hollywood-influenced visitors.

But by all means hire a car and explore. Who wouldn't? It's a lovely place - no question.
Just take your time and be aware there's a LOT more to Scotland than lochs, castles and ancienr battlefields. Try a walk through a few town centres to seen how ordinary Scots actually live. You might meet people you end up liking forever...
