What on earth did you guys do???? We used to just enter the ID and password, and now you need a session code. Do you need a TeamViewer account now? We didn't need that before.

The new UI / desktop app and Web apps are HORRIBLE !!! There's no way to simply understand it ! You're mixing up the HOST AND GUEST concepts ! The Desktop app says "Get help
Support session
Enter the session code provided by the other participant to grant them access to your device and start receiving support." ... they way it used to work is that IF YOU WANTED TO GET SUPPORT ... YOU SHARED your session id and password and that's it. It's super confusing now !

Can't get people on the other end to figure out how to install. This is confusing and so frustrating. Still can't get it working. Nothing intuitive about this. Mine does not work this seamlessly. Even when I connected to someone else with a session code I could not see their screen. Need to find another solution.

This new version is very complicated i am looking for alternative because i have been trying to connect to my child laptop to help and it seemed impossible

Extremely unintuitive! It won't work, because it can't work unless you pay. You can't generate a session code with the free desktop version. I tried connecting to my father's PC for about 4 hours until we gave up. There are no options to create a session ID. The whole app has a settings button that doesn't give you anything besides tuning your video and audio. There's a button to connect to a Session code, but NO WAY to generate a session code. Teamviewer is done!

For the love of GOD...please go back to the old team viewer! I don't want to sign in to use it but it appears that I CAN'T use it UNLESS I sign in. For one, where is the session code at? Even if I find it, will THEY connect into me or am I connecting into THEM? Instructions unclear; uninstalled!

I am so confused. My old version was so much easier. It's telling me mine is too old but its up to date?? I've tried downloading the new software but which one?? and now I'm still stuck - Is it now an online version? Shouldb there be a short cut on my desktop like there was? I'm obviously not techie but I thought I had some understanding - NOOOO Been here for a few hours now trying to understand it and I still don't know how to connect to another computer - why is it so complicated???
