We would imagine other chamfer tools do the same job so if you already have a tool for this job then ours is not required, only downfall is the is no magnet removal part, but any magnet will do the same job

I love them! For those who wonder if the plugs will be sucked by the vacuum cleaner while cleaning your MFT: I have the steel ones and a MFT top in MDF with holes made with the UJK Parf System. Actually the plugs are a little bit snug which prevent them to be eaten by my Festool vacuum cleaner (with the brush on). Even after several months all plugs are still accounting for. That said, because of this snug effect, I prefer removing the plugs by pressing with a finger from the underside of the table. Not that the magnet can’t remove them but I prefer that way. And to temporarily store the removed plugs, I use a magnetic strip on the side of the bench, so they don’t get lost.

I just received the stainless steel plugs and chamfer tool. They are SO great. I store rolling tables underneath my MFT, so no more dust or screws going through the holes. Brilliant design.

Ralph…That’s a creative idea. I absolutely love the fence system with under rail and right side fence. I also appreciate how responsive you are on questions and shipments. As a big fan, I recommend your company and products frequently.

Hi Ralph !
This is Vivek Jaiswal from Kolkata (India).
I have just started using your mk2 parallel guide which I had received last week. Amazing peice of tool with high precision and accuracy. Have also ordered the mk2 rail square which is yet to receive with the repeat stop.
I was looking forward to something like a self aligning guide rail connector.
Something like the TSO.
I use the Makita tracks and their connectors are press cut sheet metal flats and are flimsy... needs a straight edge to set it straight. I wish that you will design something unique and innovative in regatds

Sans doute très bien même si je n’ai pas vraiment compris le fonctionnement, le magnétisme sur le bois me laisse perplexe !

What an excellent idea! However, instead of aluminium or stainless steel, suppose they were injection moulded in hard plastic with embedded steel washers - the same functionality at a fraction the cost?!

Although it is hard to explain that we put a lot of effort in making holes in a board and then spend money in covering them with small metal plugs….

Sadly there is no information here nor on the website with regards to the weight of those plugs, I fear they would be sucked up rather easily while vacuuming the table?

What if I have the chamfer kit for the Parf Dogs. Will that work with your mft plug setup or do I need to use your chamfer kit? And can you pin a link in the comments please? 😊
Thanks for your time.

Would the chamfer tool also work on a plywood surface?

I like the idea of sealing the holes having spent time searching underneath for the escaped pieces, but hitting one with a saw or router could be bad. Really bad.

Or save a lot of money and just use blue tape
