A while ago I set 3 of my first videos to unlisted. Now I regret this so I think of republishing them. Is it possible to republish them with the "old" publishing date; or will they appear as new videos?

Thank you so much for this video!! I had uploaded a video and had not watched it all the way thru on Youtube. I deleted it off of my device, emptied my trash, and then watched the video later. Only to discover there was one short clip near the end that had no audio!! The video still ran smooth as far as understanding the rest of it, but I didn't know how to get that one small clip out before the end. This was a wealth of help!

great video. You showed how to queue up where the split has to be. But in his video you do not show to press the X where your splits are in order to delete that section. Anyway I figured it out thanks for all your home you might want to edit this video for that. Because it took me a few tries to figure that out

If you're doing podcasts like I do, the only caveat is your trims can only be a second apart or so. Therefore if you slipped up somewhere and want to trim that part out, you have to either trim out a bit more than intended within that same time frame or leave it alone. Otherwise your trim will result in an abrupt edit. It would be so much easier if you can just "update" the existing video. By update I mean just replacing it with a corrected version of your first audio. That way all of the existing stats (day it was uploaded, number of likes, comments, etc.) aren't disturbed, and would save you the hassle of starting all over again. Learning goes with the territory.
