Akihiko is pound for pound the most potent party member, Yukari is the white mage to heal up after Aki and Junpei's phys skills, and Junpei is the crit monster.

in fes, my team was: aigis wirh buffs, akihito with debuffs and eletric attacks, and yukari with healing

Note: Mitsuru also has her Personality trait increase critical hit rate against enemies with ailments. Combined with Distress from Ambush, and a high critical hit rate weapon (I do not know if Rebellion/Revolution has the same effect), critical hits are near guaranteed to land against a Distressed enemy

Persona players already know this but Makoto Yuuki is a Jack of All trades basically you can use anyone as fodder while Yuuki finished them off😂

My favorite squad is the 2F squad, yukari for healing and agility debuff, aigis for buffing and junpei for the CRIT.

I've played through twice now and tried mixing and matching.
First playthrough I tried to run with Mitsuru and Junpei to synergize their characteristics. But Mitsuru constantly misses status attacks or the enemy just is immune so she ended up just being a minor damage dealer compared to Makoto Junpei and Aigis.
Second playthrough for Merciless I replaced her with Koromaru and kept Junpei and Aigis. That team slapped the shit out of everything. I'd just return to the first floor to have Yukari heal everyone then leave her there again.

I go with Ken, Koro, Aigis.

Ken has heatriser, zio/light, media skills
While doggo has debilitate. Dark/fire
Aigis is good phys, matarukaja, dia skill

Healing role is spread on my party, so no ones SP goes depleted inproportionately.

My MCs role in tartarus is basically being the avatar master of four other elements.

Junpei, ken, akihiko aka testosterone team (replace ken with the hot edgy guy if you're at that point for extra testosterone)

You could swap out Yukari for Ken, especially when you have divine intervention (second theurgy)

I think we all know Junpei/Akihiko/Koromaru is better, or Aigis if you wanted her over Koro since she’s actually good. P3R is a physical dominant game, and considering this it’s accurate to say Yukari is probably the WORST party member, you get a Persona with Salvation on it late game and she’s completely irrelevant and does nothing for the team but terrible wind damage. She’s Morgana 2.0. Mitsuru isn’t as bad, but why sit there and concentrate + diamond dust every turn when Junpei can use brave blade and easily deal over 2000 damage and build his Gauge? Then add a power howl onto that for around 4500 instead? People have run the numbers, it’s just fact that this point. Use who you want obviously, it’s entirely your choice, but know Junpei/Akihiko/Koromaru or Aigis is the best team.
