Knipex Pliers Wrench is what I prefer personally. You get that same ratcheting action, without the need for 6 wrenches to get the full range of fastener sizes.

Adjusting mechanism is pretty much identical to tie rod wrenches used for doing alignments on cars. Just a different body and handle

Its only good if it adjusts to steps rather than infinite.
Infinite adjustment will make it stick to specific points overtime.
