Myelination in Action!

Courtesy of the MRF Principal Investigator Dr. Ben Barres from Stanford University, this time-lapse video shows myelin formation occurring in the lab. In the petri dish, oligodendrocytes (cells that wrap myelin around the nerve axon) are myelinating axons. Myelin is shown in green, and axons without myelin are indicated in red.

I have peripheral neuropathy. I do not go to doctors, nor do I take any medication or shots. I have much improved my neuropathy and am repairing my myelin through nothing more than changing my diet. If you want to help yourself, just search online for foods that repair myelin and change your diet. Stay away from processed foods and limit going to restaurants. I went form not being able to walk 1/10 of a mile to walking 8.5 miles every day - in just a few months (about 3 I think).

Myelin is skill. And skill is myelin. It is exciting to know that whenever we are developing skills, this is what is going on:-D

The answer I found for a question Bill Cameron posted.  I found the music thanks to Shazam.
