I reserved 5 build slots for 2023, but I don't think I'll be stepping up to this X model. I spec'd our 389s to the hilt, can't justify the extra cost for a few more shiney items. Didn't want to buy a 389 because of the All digital dash, it's an impedence in us converting them to gliders. Thankfully, an interface is being worked out, and our trucks will have 6nz Cats within a year of owning them.
Our w900s we received this month are losing the red and getting the yellow, thank you kW for not going full digital in the w9.

Under 2000 being made. Good start on accessories from factory. Some additional Trux lighting and more TRP chrome would put it over the top without having to go full custom like most truck show gliders.

Please do a legacy pride and class 389 like they did the 379 and we need more classic square hoods

I really like the classic style of the exterior (minus the headlights). I have a 1977 359 that still works for me and I drive it all the time. I pulled up next to a 389 model at a truck stop one time, and got out to compare the two trucks. I still think mine is better.

Only thing I see that catches my eye is the black pearl woodgrain which I'm sure is fake. I'm peterbilt fan to the core but im not impressed

I bought a 379X in 05, hate to see the price, don't get black, looks great but it'll still be dirty even when it's clean
