Buskaid: A Musical Miracle: Trailer for the 'Fabulous Finale'!

Join us NEXT WEEKEND for our last online concert - a "Fabulous Finale", on-demand for you at home for 3 days only, 28-30 May! This really is a programme to remember, featuring Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Chaconne from the opera Dardanus, the sparkling first movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 13 in C Major, K. 415 with guest pianist Melvyn Tan, and Edward Elgar’s dreamy Sospiri, Op. 70. And that's not all - in each of Dmitri Shostakovich’s Five Pieces for Two Violins, the solo parts will be performed by no fewer than 10 Buskaid-trained musicians!

And, if you're into pop and kwela, this concert has so much brilliant music for you too, including Bill Withers' famous "Ain't no Sunshine...", and Nina Simone's "I'm Feeling Good", both sung by Buskaid's very own Mathapelo Matabane. And, to finish, some very energetic kwela from double act Cecelia Manyama and Tumi Mapholo!

Admiro la gracia, la simpatía y la alegría que muestran en sus ejecuciones.
El ritmo que lo llevan en la genética, lo manifiestan en cómo tocan los instrumentos y en su expresión corporal cuando llevan el ritmo en un movimiento de "baile".
Es la primera vez que miro a los intérpretes de una orquesta, bailar en el escenario y tocando su música.
