UNFD is extremely proud to announce the signing of Sydney metal band STORIES, who were the subject of a viral teaser video last week on our YouTube Channel. To celebrate the announcement, we're stoked to release a new single called Dreamwork on January 30th. Stories will tour the East Coast on their Dreamwork tour throughout February and March.
STORIES formed on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 2012. Despite being under the age of 20, the five piece has managed to tour all over Australia with a host of international and local bands. Their debut EP Void was released in 2013 as a free download, and has garnered more than 40,000 downloads to date.
As well as signing to the UNFD label, Stories have will join the Unified management roster, alongside acts like Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Illy, Violent Soho and Northlane. Co-Managing the project will be Luke Logemann and Northlane guitarist Josh Smith, the same team behind the creative worldwide launch of Northlane's smash hit album Singularity.
The latest single from Stories Dreamwork was used in the teaser video last week. After the teaser caused a stir with 5,000 views in a short period of time, the video will be released in full as an animation video on Thursday, January 30 via the UNFD YouTube Channel.
Dreamwork was mixed by Will Putney, whose recent work on The Amity Affliction, Thy Art is Murder and Northlane garnered him three ARIA Nominations in the Hard Rock music category.
Stories will embark on the East Coast Dreamwork headline tour in February and March.
