I'm loving how Dreams is pumping out constant Lovecraftian games. Very appropriate.

As someone who's used dreams to make games before, I genuinely cannot imagine how long it took for someone to make something this fleshed out.

I don't know much about Dream but it's clear just from the exhibits in the museum how much work was was put into this. It was obviously a labour of love and the game turned out fantastic! I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to create such large and detailed environments inside a non professional game making engine. Plus the game has an interesting story, great atmosphere, and knows how to do good horror pacing! It should be released as a retail game on steam or itchio!

I have to say while not everything hit the same or is A material, the deisgn of Juni when seen from afar as this menacing terrifying monster in the distance *is* defintively on point. Giant lovecratian nightmae lobster(-ish) is suprisingly good a design

The story this game conveys is actually more captivating than most of the bigger titles this year. Made my day.

So great to see this Dev again. I still utterly adore the sense of scale from Isle of Eras with those titanic beings.

So many individual scary moments. I liked the achievements for each "fear". 👍
Also, the music and sound effects were excellently timed.

Having watched Isle of Eras again, I have to say I think this one is even better. Isle had great scale for sure, but it was even more disjointed than Juniper and most of the titan-sized beings felt more like backdrops than anything else. Lake Juniper keeps the monumental scale but also puts it to good use.

That scene with the giant trumpeters playing to awaken Juni felt like a Lovecraft short story brought to life. It really reminded me of the things that play music to Azathoth (think that's right).

I love how most of the time, you are just hearing the pitter-pat of your footsteps. It reminds me of the *original* (ie, 1989) Prince of Persia.

This was made in dreams!? I’ve seen some amazing work done on this engine but man, that was INCREDIBLE! Can’t even imagine how much time and work this took.

hope the dev can remake this in unity or unreal and can bring this to pc and maybe add a little more to it.
due to the limitations of dreams, there wasn't a lot of story or lore or voice acting.
I don't know if the characters are used to this kind of thing, but it's not every day that a lovecraftian god beast rises outta lake and turns an entire mountain side into a nightmare.

This is great. Really sad to hear that Dreams is going away.

Man, I kinda forgot that dreams existed, awesome to see that people are still pushing this to it's limits!

I like how the graffiti on the church building just says “vandalism” haha

Such unique surreal atmosphere. I got chills when in the end those giant guys (Fallen?) were blowing pipes at the monster (Juni?). It looked so surreal and beautiful at the same time. Very interesting artistic imagery.

"Hey, do you want to play another game in the middle of your game ?"
Such a cute touch ♥

aaaw no more puns at the start ?
Anyhow. There's something delightfully schlocky about the high end resolution graphics and shader yet the obvious lack of animations and voice acting due to this being extremly low budget. Amusingly it kind of actually works well, make the whole thing feel bith a bit humorous yet even more uncanny and as a result slightly tense. The environement depsite eing very empty stay pretty gorgeous. GJ from the devs on using what they had here.

I also love the commands like "trespass" or "arson". Also for those wondering whta the "angel" in the pit said in latin: "Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur" means "Anything said in latin sounds profound" more or less, yeah the game doesn't take itself very seriously you can tell :p

I just have to say, i’m really enjoying these intros and outros you’ve got, these are superb-ly creative.

43:31 the way he just casually dies and the main character doesn’t even acknowledge it

Excellent. 👍🏻😊 Weird and surreal as hell, but hits all my curiosity nerves to the point where I'd have to check out everything.
That ending makes me think there'll be a sequel (the train thingy that drove away). 🤔
