Jason Cajune is a custom boatbuilder living in Livingston, MT. With the help of a minimal crew (comprised of his wife, two young daughters and one hired man) Jason specializes in high end, hand made, wooden drift boats. The boats combine a strikingly elegant aesthetic with the ruggedness and durability often required to navigate the rocky rivers of Montana. Over the years Cajune Boatbuiling has developed an intriguing business model that favors quality of life over increased production.

I've been watching Cajune for years and years now. I doubt I'll get to the point where I can purchase one, but I hope to take a run at one or two via the plans. The first to build some skills, the second as my application of lessons learned and correction. I can only imagine the level of skill and artistry Jason has developed over the years continuously refining his designs and skills. Maybe I can bring down some whisky and watching him work for a day. Appreciate the inspiration this work continuously provides me.
