This is a fairly recent paper as well.
Hope it helps for the up coming physics exam.

Clarifications:
-Q40 should in fact be D. Beta particles will be deflected out of the page if you use flemings left hand rule.

-Q14 it is D. I explained it to be C but chose D instead. sorry for the inconvenience.

For better explanation for Q33 (pls read the explanation below)

~~It is important to know series and parallel concept properly. The resistors are identical so we must know that when resistors are connected in series, the combined resistance of series circuit is quite high. But if resistors are connected in parallel the combined resistance would be less than the resistance of a single resistor (in this case it is lamp P because it is identical as stated in the question).

We can see STU is connected in parallel with three resistor therefore the combined resistance of this STU must be smaller than the parallel of QR. The current here is constant (if you think about the resistor connected in parallel as one whole combined resistor) because in a series circuit current is constant. This according to V=IR, when resistance decreases, voltage will also decrease current is constant. Let’s say the emf is 8V. And because resistance of STU is smaller than resistance of QS, STU will receive a smaller proportion of voltage than QR. And because the resistance of P is the highest it will receive the largest share of voltage and this finally P shines the brightest. (I explained the wrong analogy in the video mb)

-Also, I only skip questions that are irrelevant to the 2023 and onwards physics syllabus. I do not skip questions on a whim. Some people ask me why. Because Cambridge has removed the topics from the latest syllabus. Such as: Latent heat of vaporization, and heat and logic gates etc….

you saved my life ....I just finished my paper 2 and I'm curious as to why Cambridge gives only 45 minutes for that paper when it's full of so many calculations .
honestly it's not fair ...in calculations a student must think...cos they are simply saying for 1 question u must take a minute oh man ..at least an hour would do ...

For question 14 why does the average distance of air particles not change? Isn’t it becoming a solid so particles move closer together?

bro u really helps a lot. better than my teacher 😒😒 i am sharing ur channel with my frinds but pleas man there is some questions that u put the wrong answe after explaining every thing in a perfect way. thank you so much for help

Question 5 they should have asked what is the density of the added liquid....because the way it was asked ...one would assume that you have been asked for the density of the whole liquid...Geez

Why is the answer not A for question 16 as the boiling point of impure substances is higher. To reach 110, why can we not use impure water?

so for q33 will STU be less bright than QR since less current? But they receive full voltage tho

Why do you divide it by 60 to turn minute to seconds? Shouldn't it be multiply? (Q22)

Q40 is not C it is D, according to the ms
