Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hamami Mud Rub, Istanbul

After my bucket shower where my masseur rubbed my skin with a rough exfoliating glove while I sat on the warm marble seat. After rinsing off the soap and dead skin, Muhammed, my masseur, started doing the mud rub and then left me for about 10 minutes while the mud dried. He returned and then washed off the mud. After that, I entered the large circular bench where I and others received a massage. After rinsing off, I was bundled in three towels and went to the lounging area where I drank tea and relaxed.
