In Of Predators and Prey: Part 1 (S1 E9), Ben as Heatblast chases Khyber and threatens him but gets defeated by Crabdozer
In Of Predators and Prey: Part 2 (S1 E10), Ben tries to get Heatblast hoping the Omnitrix doesn't give him Heatblast, but gets Heatblast and gets eaten by Crabdozer.

If you'll notice, when he pressed the button for Heatblast in part 2, he did so more lightly than he usually does, which is the reason the Randomizer didn't activate
