Keanu Reeves is back on the big screen as Neo in the fourth film in the saga, out in theaters and streaming on HBO Max on Dec. 22.

2:30 proves that neo is keanu reeves in our world. Our world is the new matrix reality. Thats why the green filter is gone from the movie and why that guy at 2:30 says there going back to the matrix. Hes a movie producer talking to keanu who doesnt understand that he really is neo.

Wow, if you slow this video down to the max level this trailer has probably over 100 clips from the movie. By slowing down the video this trailer is more visually AMAZING TO WATCH

Kind of bummed that some of the original cast aren't in this, but maybe this sparks a new set of films and they are involved later :)

i really hope this adds to the universe and the philisophical elements. would be awesome to see what kind of questions they can pose now that technology has advanced so much and sci fi movies like minority report are basically reality now (with the whole personalized advertising thing). the tone of the trailer seems really off from the other movies? i dunno i just want my gritty thoughtful cyberpunk to not be overly bombastic... the original almsot sorta had horror elements to it i dunno

I'm getting 'The Force Awakens' vibes here, and not in a good way. Yes, Keanu and Carrie are back, but instead of giving us a creative and unique continuation of the story, we're given what looks like a nostalgia-heavy soft reboot with another black cat, another liquid mirror, another dojo fight, more towers of people in pods, more pills, another rabbit tattoo, another plunky hovercraft crew, and even another 'Lady in latex inside a darkened room with flashlights dancing over her back.' shot. It looks unoriginal and nowhere near as imaginative as what came before. Hell, if you take out every reference to the previous films, there's NOTHING in this trailer to distinguish this movie from any other big-budget thriller that's come out in the past decade. We don't even have the green tint! And the fact that we get a Laurence Fishburne cosplayer instead of the real Laurence Fishburne pisses me off to no end.

I know there's a lot not being shown here, but as a huge fan of the original trilogy, this trailer did nothing for me. I'm hoping all my fears will be proven wrong, but I'm afraid 'Resurrections' will end up as yet another failed 'Bring back a few original actors but toss them aside to focus on hot, young people nobody cares about' nostalgia trip that Hollywood continues to toss out year after year (and the fact that Don Davis isn't coming back to do the music doesn't help, either).

Looks action packed focused the trailer, I hope the philosophical conflict is as strong as the trilogies. Hugo and Laurence will be missed. Big boots to fill those characters.

I want this movie to turn out so good, but without morpheus, or link, and the others, it's hard to feel the same emotional connection. But I guess that's the Matrix for you, not everyone and everything lasts but I will miss seeing Morpheus when this comes out.

Not the same without Morpheus. I feel like they should've done something more powerful with Morpheus's character. Morpheus's speech etiquette and screen presence made the friken movie. On another note, the movie doesn't feel legit. Almost feels like a straight to dvd type of film. Lastly, I think the machines reinserted Neo and Trinity into the matrix to revive their bodies.
