Gotta love how the final wishing well reward is an area where you can get a little text blurb from all the developers. And Jeremiah Slaczka mentioned a magic flower hidden in Wilfre’s manor that could revive the Mayor. And another developer warned you not to listen to Jeremiah’s bull.

That’s the funniest thing in the game to me; one dev using his singular message to the player to troll them and another dev spending theirs to try and prevent that. Like spending a genie wish to undo your last wish.

The awesome thing about this fight is that you're fighting a guy who basically plagiarized _God Himself._ See those tridents, and those stars? You drew those, _and he's using your own creations against you as if they're his own._

I could never read the word Scorpion as I kid so I thought Wilfre was using some weird adjective.
"My scunermunjin friend" I'd say.
And one day my mom told me it said Scorpion...

The first videogame I've ever played. 10 years old, with my old DS, scared as fuck. My first final boss ever. After I beated him I felt so damn proud, I will never feel as proud again.

There’s something so interesting that the final boss wasn’t a giant monster of shadows or a grotesque drawn abomination, but a big powerful scorpion followed by Wilfre using your drawings against you. It’s not a complaint at all, it’s a compliment. Kind of reminds me of GameBoy games like Links Awakening and Wario Land and how bosses were like evil animals or something like that. Some could consider it lazy, but it’s strangely memorable to have the final boss be a big guardian scorpion, no flashiness, just a fight. It’s interesting

Not gonna lie, I struggled with wilfre quite a lot when I was little. However when I picked up the game again, he was absolutely easy, even the scorpion wasn’t too hard for me! If you ask me, making that huge jump before the boss was harder than the fight itself.

I come back to this video a lot, Drawn to Life is so nostalgic and Wilfre is still a fantastic villain, this game was such a major part of my childhood and helped influence who I am today, that's the power of videogames
