You should make a video about lifting a patient off the floor. That is the reason I got one of these, for when my wife falls. The overall procedure is the same except the legs have to straddle the patient.

I notice the sheets being very wrinkle an not straight which can cause skin break down after a while.Instead of 2 people watch Client on the toilet one could make sure the linens were straight.Other than that it was helpful

How do you get the net out from under the person once they are on the toilet/bath chair??! Every video skips that part! I'm so confused!?!

I'd like to know how to do a transfer from a stroller to a bed/changing table for someone with near total immobility. Getting anything underneath them is already a hassle, and lifting is not doing our spines any favors.

Why are they dragging her bottom across that bed. That means they didnt lift her high enough

Don't drive the hoist directly into the front of the chair/commode. This increases the risk of shins and feet hitting the mast. Drive in at an angle to the commode.

How do the patients say if they need a Hoyer? Do they say: Can I get a Hoooo Yeeeerrrr! like that? lol.

Problem is assistant living and personal care facilities are not permitted such apparatuses. All lifting is done manually. There is no safe way to lift a resident weighting over 200 lbs if you have a small frame.
