I like the way that lighting 33 of the most powerful rocket engines on Earth is now a normal static fire

Can't get enough of your intro. The music is awesome!

If you all have an extended cut of the intro, I would put that on loop and just keep it running for the sheer brilliant ambiance of it.

Ya…. There was definitely something A LOT different about that static fire besides the duration. Looked like WAY more power, even sounded and looked different.

I love this full time opening movie(0-70sec). So exited, every time.

An Xmas or New year launch would be awesome !

The last stages of a static fire, like the last stages of a launch are entirely automated. So there is no "big green button".

Surprisingly the OLM didn't lift off! 😋

I wonder what viewing areas like Isla Blanca or Rocket Ranch look like during static fires in terms of turnout. Obviously not as much as launches but do people come out to watch?

I was kind of hoping a patch for every flight 😅 would be quite the collection

Any chance some of these engines were V3?

Exactly 10 second static fire. I broke out the stopwatch lol.

NASASpaceflight: If the booster gets caught, is there a level of remote piloting and loading the booster onto the transport at a level that could support full automation - no people on the launch pad required??? If so so, that would allow for having the booster out of harms way enabling a catch attempt of the ship as a BONUS.

I'm confused, I thought the plan all along was to set the booster on the OLM and then catch ship to be stacked right onto booster. I'm pretty sure SpaceX has released animations showing that among others as well.

Come on now - he’s not the all powerful God-head Elon you think he is - he’s not micromanaging what the rocket does!

they are not attempting tower catch with this one last i heard unless they changed the plan.
