Wasn’t a brake failure. Lewis engaged the “magic” button which shifts his brake bias to the front in order to help create heat for the tyres on the out lap. He forgot to disengage it and when he pressed the brakes at corner 1 he immediately locked up. 100% user error, not mechanical error.

It wasn't break failure. Hamilton left effectively the e-brake on, which is normally reserved for caution laps to heat the brakes up. It was purely self-inflicted.

This wasn't a brake failure. He pressed the "magic" button on the steering wheel which moved the brake bias as far forward as possible, for those wondering. Lewis also said this on the team radio in the F1 team radio video.

was'nt a break failure theres a thing in the mercedes car called the magic button and if lewis presses it it changes the brake bais by 75% to the front on the restart when checo came over lewis accidently touched the magic button and he wasnt ready for it heading into turn 1 so thats why he locked up

It was his fault, he made a mistake and lock his wheels up
