Most people would think you only really conquer a language once you can "get" their jokes. This guys must be ridiculously funny in french if he had me laughing out loud and english isn't even his native language. Colbert never dissapoint with the selection of comedians on his show

Heard about Gad on This American Life. Incredible guy. Left French superstardom to begin at the bottom in NYC. He had to learn English and then learn how to be funny in this new language.
