Government can reduce income tax slab from 30% to 10% and create more spending power to common man.
Increase rate of interest and encourage them to keep their earnings in various forms and US them for development rather bringing from outside.
Cut down corporate tax or income tax of any organization and pass bill to invest back in india as future expansion. This creates job opportunities, people will get money in hand and pay tax to governmentand buy car, 2 wheeler etc.
Allocate 3% of income tax payment of individual to health insurance premium to his/ her family. Many of Middle class people not able to afford even insurance premium for their family.

If a proper Economist can become finance minister of the country all these reforms can be bought.
I respected PM for his contributions in past 10 years and it's fading day by day just because he is not caring common man.
He should show in his actions not in speeches.
He is more worried how to corner opposition.. this is enough for now. He has to think more about giving justice to tax payers
