I’m in seventh grade but our sixth grade band is playing it but our director is having us play it with them because they don’t have any percussion and looking at our other three songs compared to this, this is a piece of cake. Our band played it very well on our first run through of it which was the first we had all seen it so we were all sight reading it.

I was in orchestra at my old school, i was a violinist at the time but then i moved to a new school and they didn't have strings but they had band (beginning) so i decided to do percussion, and a few weeks later i got so used to percussion to the point i always dibs to play the cymbals, and we are doing this song at a concert next month, and i know that percussion and most definitely cymbals is gonna eat this song up, especially percussion finally having the spotlight too 😭
