Hello what if I have 22 sitemaps within the sitemap_index.xml url. The website is pretty large. Do I need to add all of them to search console one by one or just the top /sitemap_index.xml url will be enough for google to follow? Thank you

So, i opened up a new blog that isn't fully live( every now and then i put it live to test the sitemap). I tried adding the sitemap like you did, and i saw before, but all it shows is "Couldn't fetch data" do u know what that usually means? Do i have to have my site live for a few days for it to show it as successfully adding a sitemap?

Is it a one-time process or we have to submit sitemaps again after a period of time?
