The Electro-Harmonix Bass Clone chorus pedal’s core circuitry is nearly identical to the legendary Small Clone chorus pedal, but with added features especially for bass.

Chorus is a combination of modulated and dry signals. The Bass Clone’s Crossover switch cuts low end from the modulated signal so the pedal delivers a more accurately articulated bottom end with excellent note definition. The Treble control affects the whole signal while the Bass control only affects the dry half. Together with the Crossover switch they provide precise sound shaping that lets you achieve a tight, focused bass guitar sound with a well-defined low end and shimmering chorus on top.

I just came to say that one year ago I started my band, I was looking for a nice chorus pedal because I love Peter Hook and I came across with this video. You sold me not only the Bass Clone but the Big Muff too, and I never liked distortion on bass.
One year later I use both pedals all the time and I truly think I've found my sound, so thank you for the fantastic review, and for helping me getting to musical places I never knew I wanted to go, but now I love.

Got mine in the studio today and tried every type of setting, Vibrato only on this is super cool, The low end is Awesome and the chorus doesn't get old, I've tried other pedals and this is a keeper.

I've been using this live for a while and it has a great chorus sound, particularly good for Hooky riffs. I also noticed that if I hit the last note in a song and hold it, it sustains with a cool warping sound which is great for intensity and effect

My man..great video. I just bought a big muff and was looking for a second pedal. I love joy division and new order and peter hook so this video just asserted the fact that this is my second pedal haha . Its Affordable, allows to get that hooky tone and goes well with my big muff.
