I'm learning more about football from these videos than I have in all the years watching and talking about the game since I started in 1992.

You should do more tactical analysis for specific teams rather than matches

Pep’s system is well calculated which would leave players freedom to be creative, also leave the system for flexible adaptation to different teams, one word : genius! Love your video

👏👏👏👏👏. I never thought how much of a team game this was (maybe because everyone focus so much on individuals) it reminds me Chess, concepts like "Develop your Pieces", "Control the Center", "Stay away from the edges with your attacking pieces" and "teamwork".

Summary:Pep is genius, absolute genius.

Tactically, I still believe Pep's on another level . If u want to beat him tactically, it's hard . Coz his every player acts as a key n not single player . He needs his defence back n that's it .

His use of the center back's and how they are the foundation of possession game is all I would add to this, even In a tight spot there are always options to pass. it is beautiful to watch.

The person(s) behind this clearly read books of soccer that have been published. Thanks for the study and great visuals, much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

The short passing also enables them to press fast and agressive when they lose the ball as there is loads of City players present in the area already, from the short passing, this disarms the opponent counter attack. The players always have to be aware; if I lose the ball here, am I covered? It is the defense's job to deliver the ball, to the attackers, in the final third, so that they can do their magic. From this point on they are free from positional play. Another mechanisme to disable counters is that the first thought is to always pass deep forward towards the 9 this will lead to more players behind the ball and thus is safer. The initial 433 diamond (transitioned into 343 diamond) explained by Cruyff to play with 3 in the mid as opposed to 4231, is implemented in order to have those 3 men behid the ball (Amongst many other reasons). in that sense, the system is fairly defensive. Disabling defenses by freeing up a player(with ball) in the zone between their attackers and defence is spot on deadly and can best done with two strikers creating an almost mano a mano lst vs lcb, rst vs rcb with a cm almost freely to play in the . This is the diamond in Barça system, where they dance around with. The intire Barça system consits of playing in the third zones, thus horizontal and vertical.

Almost as sophisticated as my trainer's tactics in the regional second division. Our main winning plan is like 'keep shooting as the wind supports us!'
He tells us this in both half times...
