I liked the fact that the underground fight between Nightcrawler and Angel reflected the feud between Neyaphem and Cheyarafim mutants seen in the comics, i didn’t like that his connection to Azazel and Mystique was completely lost (although it was at least hinted at in X2)

Night crawler looks like the devil and Angel has wings, but the former is a devout catholic and the other became a horseman of Apocalypse. How funny
