Hi hi! In this video, I'm unboxing my new 2020 M1 MacBook Air for use in 2023. I have been out of a laptop for over a year and I've been saving to get one. I finally decided on the 2020 MacBook Air M1 after tons of research. I saw it on sale and told myself that I couldn't miss out. I plan to update you all on how well it holds up at the end of the year. Please watch in HD. Oh, and I apologise for all the little grammatical errors I made in the captions :c

Hi fairy loves 🧚‍♀ Quick update: After a year and a half of using my MacBook Air M1, it suddenly shut off one day without any damage or warning. I took it to the Apple Store, and they diagnosed it as a logic board failure. After checking Reddit, it seems that logic board failures in the newer M1 MacBook Air (2020 model onwards) are more common than expected, often happening within 2 years. Some are even questioning whether Apple should recall and replace these devices free of charge. If you're considering getting one, keep this in mind, and be sure to back up your data regularly or consider getting AppleCare. Thanks for watching, and feel free to ask if you have any questions! ❤

Great pick up! I bought one of these when they originally came out. Base model with the M1 is plenty for most users. I use an SSD for more storage and it has been a great setup overall :)
