I've never worked in a project based, team oriented environment, so I have been waiting all my life for this the stay-at-home order. Being an introvert, I was living my best life not being around people. I have not fared well, at all, since being forced back to work. Everyday, I search for a remote position, so I can go back to staying home.

You can still build trust over teams, zoom, etc. It's like one of your previous talks Simon. It just takes a phonecall. I prefer working from home, a healthy mix would be nice but that's just not realistic in a Covid-19 world at the moment. Self care and productivity are much more better at home than at the office and with the improvement in self care we can then look to others and see how we can make their lives easier. It can go both ways.

We have 1:1 calls or zoom meeting between stakeholders monthly. That is where the talk about family and our experiences happen. The hardest part is celebration and the inability to break bread together. We are working on getting creative around that part.

You are 100% correct. Too bad that many companies already have decided to go full remote forever. Not only that: I have spoken to a few friends who are delighted about this because...they are miserable at work, so they said: "I finally don't have to be in a toxic environment. All I have to do is type and send while in my pajamas. It's awesome."
