All the crafting materials for the ank shirld can be transmuted. for example the armor polish can be transmuted into vitamins, so if you have two armor polish you can transmute one and craft the item with both. This can be done in the new biome the aether.

So, as of 1.4.4 the Ankh Shield now requires the pocket mirror as well which is dropped by medusas (2.5%), just to let you know

Now with shimmer it's waaaay too easy, just get one of these itmes twice and throw the second one in the shimmer and you don't have to farm for that opposite item anymore

Don’t forget that you can throw the items that go with eachother ( for example the bandage and the bezoar ) in the shimmer to get either or, throw the bandage in the shimmer to get a bezoar and throw a bezoar in the shimmer to get a bandage, this applies to the other items that go with eachother, so if you can’t seem to get a reflective mirror from Medusa, you can get two blind folds and throw one into the shimmer to get one of each item, this makes getting the ankh shield a bit easier

Ank shield easier to make if u find the shimmer biome and use it would highly recommend to get bottomless bucket of water and throw it to shimmer
