lol! good parody and very true! Media and marketing has played with our minds for the past 30 or 40 years giving us this idea that we'd all be rich and famous and that older people were just clueless while anyone young really knew what was going on. Then one day you hit that age where you are no longer supported by that "hey, you can do whatever you want to, kid!" mentality and it's just "get a job, dumbass, and make us some new customers!"

I didn't laugh, but as its own song, it's very good. Lorde's song is cool, but unlike her song, this one deals with several different themes at once: nostalgia of teenage-hood, the disillusionment of growing up into adulthood without having accomplished your hopes and dreams and the resulting resentment of seeing someone attaining millions at an age far younger than yourself, most likely enjoying their youth in a way you never did as a result, while you, as an adult, not only struggle to get by, but also struggle to find life even remotely interesting. Good times. LOL
