Everyone’s favorite resident dungeon doggo, Moonless, has a similar design to Gut’s Beast of Darkness. Both have a comparable beastly wolf appearance and jagged tooth mouths, and this design inspiration is shown further in Moonless from the Fear & Hunger 2 Termina who has grown to much more monstrous proportions. In berserk, the beast represents the repressed rage and wrath of Guts that wants to break out and cause carnage. However, our Moonless is much better and more friendly and helpful than the beast of darkness.
