im predicting the metro tunnel will open late 2024 or early 2025 depending if the progress is good. im also hoping that the next semi major project will be adding electrification to the melton and wyndham vale train lines in melbournes west

Cant wait for this to open, hopefully this means a whole different service will take the Cranbourne and packenham line’s place through the city loop and we will have much better public transport options!

The Victoria state government didn't ask the wider Victorian people if they wanted the Metro Rail Tunnel, there was as no public consultation and there's been no transparency about it either.
