Fryette Valvulator GP/DI Demo: Page Hamilton of Helmet

The GP/DI is on Kickstarter until November 5th, 2013!

Page Hamilton of Helmet, a longtime Fryette user, came by earlier today to try out the GPDI. This is the first result - we'll be posting a longer video sometime next week, when Paul gets around to editing it!

Page used his ESP Horizon into the GPDI prototype. We recorded it with an SM57 on a Deliverance 4x12 - no processing on the guitar other than a touch of reverb from 2cAudio. You can also hear the camera mic in a couple of places - we had to bring it up so you could hear what Page was saying!

Thank you for this. A lot of the small "lunchbox" amps that have been coming out in the past few years have really neglected a good HIGH GAIN tone. This thing's got some serious chops (at 1 watt?!) and who better to show it off than Page Hamilton?

Wow. I was really interested in your products, until I saw this racist video. Gross.

By the way, I used to own a VHT Valvulator I, and highly recommended them in the past. I sold mine because I got in a bad spot and needed the money, but I came here because I was looking for a new one. I'm an Asian woman, and I can't in good conscience recommend or purchase your products, based on the insult this video delivers to me, personally, as well as all Asian women. Shame on you.

I came to watch this video while seeking a good mini-amp and getting a suggestion here. I loved the beginning but was disgusted by the end.
And by the way. I am from Finland and I don't have any Asian employees.
