In my arsenal of telescopes i have a 16” dob snd what was a dob as well is my 8” f/6 reflector I’ve used for astrophotography.

Nice! But it is low on portability - that's a must for me, as I live deep in the Redwoods near Santa Cruz, CA. Im about ready to spring for a 6 inch Newt. There is no substitute for aperture!

M51 is my favorite celestial object i haven't been able to catch it even when i find Alkaid i can't find it.

She's a big girl! The quattro's are a lot of bang for your buck and are pretty damn affordable. Way cheaper than getting an apo, without having to deal with chromatic aberration. Love em
