My dad was in the Air Force for about 28 years, from about ‘72 to 2000ish. There used to be a time where we never needed pens or pencils. I miss those pens, and the mechanical pencils were good too. I wish we could still get them. Thanks Andrew.

Excellent video, sir! Ive got an AR i decided to switch the grip out on while in the field. Detent spring for the saftey is still in that field somewhere. The spring out of a bic lighter got cut down slightly and installed. That was 7 or 8 years ago. Selector switch syill works great. Adapt, improvise, overcome!

You can pick up a light wt 9x12 plastic drop cloth for a couple $ to make rain catch, shelter, etc.

Thank you Andrew. Yet another brilliant video, I look forward to these.
There's so many guys out there 'reinventing the wheel ' so to speak. You're knowledge is so practical and innovative. I've been putting some of these skills to the test in some private woodland I use here in the UK. The nice thing about these videos is you can do so much with so little.
When I go out for a couple of nights I don't feel I need to carry 40 pounds of kit with me anymore.
