Yes. It's bad. We can all see him not even attempting to hide reading the cards. But I don't care, there's a sincerity in him doing this. It's hard to explain, and I'm sure he knows he's no great actor, he knows his talent was basketball. But he still gets on stage and jokes around and acts like a goof. His good time resonates through the screen to me and I have a good time with him. His inability to act is part of the charm.
