Most respected professions in our country other than civil services
1.Armed forces
2.Doctor
Imagine doing the two profession at the same time🫡🇮🇳

okay, so the thing is after MBBS you get to choose between permanent commission and short service commission. For permanent commission you can do PG super speciality and everything that you wish to do and anywhere that you wish to do, many doctors here have done MCh and DM from AIIMS, PGI etc. Now coming to Short service commission, you get to do PG just like permanent commission, after 4 years post internship. But after Pg the bond is increased by another 6 years, so total of 14 years of service including the internship and PG course. After this you get ex servicemen quota for DM|MCH in army hospitals. Also if you wish to leave after 7 years post MBBS without PG, you get the same ex servicemen quota for PG In ARMY hospitals, and it’s pretty much easy to bag the seat of your choice that way. Also for in service pg the cutoffs are insanely low, so you get your seat of choice almost 70_~80% of times, so in this era of reservations, this security is something you’ll reaslise the importance of only after MBBS, after NEET ug everyone thinks they’ll do neet pg and bag the seat of their choice easily, but it doesn’t happen always. Many many people have to take a drop of 1~2 years, if lucky. There are so many ppl who have to take drop more than 2 times, so you aren’t going to save time or anything outside in fact being in army you’ll get a great pay before your pg. In my opinion, if you’re getting AFMC, you should take it, you won’t regret it ever! Also for the sake of validity of my opinion, I’ve done my MBBS from AFMC!

After watching your videos, I would rather do MBBS in my local college, of course small town. Then serve local people, and provide quality services, make money, come home walking or on bike, eat home made food, watch TV and lead happy and content life. On weekends, play badminton.

Your advice is so genuine Gupta ji. I wish we had people like you earlier on youtube. It would have been so helpful. You are a wonderful human being. :)

I did MBBS from AFMC 2012 batch
With a bond of 60 LACS , if u don't get permanent commission
And end up with short service commission ( SSC ) u will have to do 7 years of Bond service without doing PG
Once u get out of there, you are left with just a MBBS degree !!!

Go to AFMC only if u want to join the forces for the long run

I was convinced by most of the points but that 7 year bond was a massive disadvantage that should be considered if someone wants(is passionate) to become a good doctor and wants to do speciality and superspecility because after 7 years you are like a grown up man(probably married) starting everything from near zero.

i definitely agree with all the facts you have mentioned, but a person like me who always wanted to be in air force my parents didn't agree with it...and wanted me to be a doctor...i have got this opportunity where i could be able to step into air force and at the same time also be a doctor....since mine 8th std i have decided to be in air force and now i am in 11th....so ..yes as far as concerned about my life....its better to die for your mother earth and being rolled up in the Indian flag than to die in an accident or with a disease ...ha you have to every time say yes mam and yes sir...but every time you get promoted you also earn that dignity....not only the people in air force but also people outside respect us....being in armed forces makes you feel proud and as far as i know that yes its really you for sharing these things with us....even mine uncle was in air force and he is the 2nd reason why i wanna join air force....
ALL THE BEST TO YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE..HAPPY FOR YOU...
KEEP SHARING US WITH SUCH WONDERFUL INFORMATION....

I'm a neet 2023 aspirant and Tbh I don't at all find the disadvantages as a barrier because air force has been my dream ever since I've even started dreaming..
Why would I say no to such an opportunity where I can be a doctor as profession and also follow my passion... Each and everyday I wake up and study just for that uniform🥺 I would surely make my parents proud of me.. I promise to myself

Eligibility for PG is after 3 yrs of service if you want to continue as a specialist in the forces …..7 yrs is only for people who want to do PG from non AFMS colleges

My motive to join AFMC is very much different. Although, it is said that don't plan much for your future but I have made. When I was in just class 7-8, my first love was para sf but due to genetic issues of spectacles, it got broken in class 8. But I came to know that I can still get into that regiment as a doctor, it became 100% sure that i will be going to AFMC even anything happens to me. I can sacrifice everything for it, and I'm gonna get it. ✊❤

IN AFMC ... DISCIPLINE IS NOT THAT MUCH TOUGH ... IT'S EASY ... AND OBVIOUSLY THERE IS ALSO FREEDOM .... TO ENJOY, TO LIVE LIFE IN OWN WAY .. BUT WITH SLIGHT/MODERATE DISCIPLINE AS WELL ... AFMC DOCTOR'S ALSO SERVES COMMON PEOPLE ALL OVER INDIA INCLUDING ARMIES ... !!!!

But Yes, The Only and Only Disadvantages are 7yrs and 60 lacs of Bond ... After that .. You can Do .. Specialisation in whichever Field anyone want ... !!! BUT "DISCIPLINE" .. Word .. is that which People always used to Think It means ... "First of All Commit any Task and don't try to leave in between" ... Should have to Complete that Task when once Committed .... and follow the all Orders of Senior Teachers .... and after that .. you can enjoy freedomly in your own way .... THOUGH AFMC, Pune for Armed Forces .. One can Serve Whole Nation too .... Many People Cannot get a Chance to work as an Armed Force with Armies for serving our GREAT "BHARAT MAATA" ... So, we should feel Proud ... and Again I m saying that .. AFMC's Doctors also serves .. Common People in Hospitals/Nursing of Publics as well can Open his/her Clinic too ... !!! Also .. Research Facilities available nationally and internationally both INFINITY LEVEL GREAT GREAT COLLEGE ... !!! .... I myself in AFMC, Pune ... and I feel Proud to be Here in AFMC as Medical Cadet ... !!🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 JAI HIND ... !!!
