As someone that has a tiny bedroom, I recommend a higher/elevated bed so you can put boxes underneath your bed as well as to have more space for your stuff

Jenna, I think it is so cool that you make your home comfortable and personalized, even though you know you won't be there forever. When I lived in apartments and knew I'd eventually be moving out I never wanted to decorate or put time in to making it comfortable. I love watching you decorate and style whether it's spaces or clothes. We have such different styles but I adore your taste!! There are so many combinations I would have never thought of and you somehow always manage to make everything work out and come together wonderfully.

I do want to say though: please please please wash the sheets/duvet covers/pillowcases after you purchase them from the store! They are not as clean as they look and are often sprayed with substances to make them look neat, but it's best to wash them off for safety.

As someone who had to start from scratch again 15 years ago, but with 4 children, you are doing an amazing job. Your place is looking so cosy and very much you. So proud of you. I have the same Ikea table and it's also my sewing table! We added swivel casters on the bottom so it can easily slide out into the room when I need it! I highly recommend adding the casters -- it makes an already functional table SO much more convenient.

I must admit I wasn't on board with the crocheted blanket at first, but it looks so amazing with the rest of your new bedding. It looks very cozy and colorful and bohemian. Also think that the mesh shelf with the plants looks really good there. Your place is coming together!

I honestly can’t believe you didn’t just crochet a plant hanger in lieu of not being able to macrame something! So many cute options! Everything is coming along so good. Can’t wait to see the end result. I wish I had my own place to decorate.
