A message to the presenter who said you don't tell a sick person it's their fault. You're right, you don't tell them it's their fault they're sick. But also, you DO tell them it's not YOUR fault either? When they want to imprison you or begrudge you from doing something as simple as going food shopping or doing anything the remotest bit fun, that'll only last for an hour of something like going away for a weekend, because they're sick and to hell with you, you're to be there for their benefit. They're more important to you than you, surely you must be firm with them and tell them they must take responsibility for themselves and that you're not responsible for them and you come 1st for you, not them.

I am highly sceptical of Shaila Visser's story. I suppose the fact that she happens to be the global vice-president of Alpha and also the executive producer of the Alpha film series shouldn't be a reason to doubt the veracity of her claims of miraculous healing, but it does make me extra cynical. Would a consultant physician really tell her to go home the day after an MRI scan, if she had correctly been disgnosed with cryptococcal gatii? I believe diagnosis is by means of a spinal tap. So what if the "fungal ball" is no longer detected, would they not do thorough tests to establish that the infection was no longer present? It's a disease that usually affects people with immune deficiencies. Shaila says she now suffers from immune deficiency and type 2 diabetes. Doesn't sound like she's been miraculously healed to me. I have not been able to find any mention online of this "miraculous cure", other than on her own website and in interviews with her. You would have thought it would have been mentioned in a medical journal, or on a news outlet.
