The mosasuar’s was literally about too have the meg’s head in his mouth lol

Realistically speaking the meg would be around double the size of the mosasaurus. It would also have the stronger bite and a much thicker hide. Even with the head on head collison, the mososaurus would most likely be ripped apart. People say its long snout can help it get the advantage but remember how big the meg is compared to the mosa. The oversized shark absolutely destroys the oversized lizard. You can try and debate me too lol.

I know this was for fun, but can I do a slightly serious take for a comment?
Realistically speaking, I feel like the two would avoid head-on confrontation. They should instinctively recognize the other as another apex predator, duking it out to prove who's the top beast is too risky, even if one survives, the injuries they suffer might do them in later, or attract other predators that would take advantage of their weakened state.
However
If one were to spot the other without being noticed themself, they very well may take the opportunity.
With two creatures of equal size and hunting ability, it's a matter of who strikes first and strikes hard. So a sneak attack is the key to victory
