the MSB RESISTOR SHOULD HAVE A VALUE OF "R" NOT "2R"
resistance of lsb is 2^(n-1)R.

If 0, ground will be connected and those resistances need to be included know, as in R 2R ladder. Can any one clear my doubt?

Why dont we consider the resistance connected to gnd while calculating the equivalent resistance as in case of R-2R ladder?

I think you are mistaken. The MSB should be R, not 2R. So almost every calculation you do is not correct.
