Boring, just opening apps, that is not a real comparison for phones, yes, it is part of a test for speed app opening but is not all. What about different Android versions installed on each phone. I think this is not a valid test because you are not comparing the same operative system.
Also, there are a lot of comparisons that can be made; is easy to see that colors of the display are more intense in the X4. What about battery life? What about different Android versions installed on each phone. I think this is not a valid test.
Bottom line: is almost the same phone. X4 just a little bit smaller, with 200 mAh less in the battery, but it has IP68 protection. I would say that X4 is better if you do not like big screens and you have concerns about IP68 protection.
My two cents...

I have updated X4 to Android 8.0 and it starts crashing, the phone suddenly shuts down, then it does not restart, nor recognize charging with any cable/charger, after a couple of days I was able to turn it off again (from nothing) then a month later, the same happens and this time the phone was totally dead. I tried all the boot options (vol - & power button, all buttons, power button 10, 20, 60 seconds) Nothing work, the phone became a brick from apparently no reason.
I research about it and it look to be a firmware issue that is activated when a running app crashes, it crash the whole phone.

The g6plus is 5.9 inch the x4 is 5.2 so how come both of your phones are the same size? The g6 plus has a better camera, 4gig ram, and 64 gig rom, the x4 has 3gig ram, 32 gig rom.

Moto x's display is way better, g6 will always be a mid-range device so I think that's why they don't put quality premium hardware there, anyways the g6 is my next buy
