How To Print and Label Seed Packets With a Label Maker?

Review by @mellowgardening

Buying seeds is fun, and in fact, one of my favorite things to do is look at seed catalogs and learn about different varieties. Although a pack of seeds might be fairly cheap, they all start to add up when you have a good amount of packets sitting in your shopping cart.

Even though I still like to buy seeds, I try to make a habit of saving seeds also. It doesn’t take too much time and effort to do so, and you get to save your money and instead purchase those other varieties you’ve been eyeing for a while. 👀

I used to just save my seeds in zip-loc bags, but this year, I really wanted to be a lot more organized and make my packets look cute to keep me excited about the whole process.

I’m really loving my new thermal label maker by @niimbot. It uses zero ink and has a tangle-free, Bluetooth connection. All you need to do is download the app, type in your labels, hit “print”, and let it do its magic. And do I need to mention its retro and chic design? You can also use this cute little machine to organize other things in your pantry, makeup kit, seed packet holders, mason jars, files, etc. Besides my seed packets, I’ll be using this to label my hot sauce and other jars I use to preserve food in.

They have other models that print other sizes, depending on what you’re looking for.
