It really depends on a few things... With God’s grace, you may sense the Saint’s presence via smelling something very fragrant. It also depends from our faith (belief), our humility etc. But it’s best to have a good spiritual father (a local Orthodox Christian priest or priestmonk (Geronda/Elder) from a monastery) to ask this and they with God’s grace can answer more accurately.
