I learned that when the brain gets information that our BP is too high, it decreases the activity of the nerves responsible for cardiac acceleration. This decrease in activity helps the heart return to a homeostatic state. Thanks for uploading! Summer 2020 MEDA

After understanding what baroreceptors do when blood pressure is low, the reflex when high blood pressure is present makes sense. But even without watching the low blood pressure video this video is clear and coherent in explanation of the reflex!
