Anatomically, the way it would likely work is that the tail is a continuation of the spine, just like any other animal with a tail, like a cat, fox, dog, etc. The tail sticking straight out of the back above the rear isn’t anatomically correct, but here it seems like it’s done correctly! Props to whoever made Gura’s model!

They way the tail is attached really looks weird. It being a plug is only a logical conclusion at this point.

Speaking about nonsense anatomy, I wished she had gills on her sides (which she more or less "canonically" has) on this model.
