Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's trip to deepen Indo-Pacific ties at the ASEAN summit is well underway, with him announcing $333 million in new funding that will include establishing a trade hub in southeast Asia and increasing scholarships available for South Asians to study in Canada.

Trudeau is in Cambodia meeting with leaders of some of the world's fastest-growing economies, with the goal to increase trade and relations with friendly Asian countries to isolate China.
